Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy
1. Purpose
This Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy defines GISS commitments to ethical conduct, integrity, transparency, and compliance with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to directors, employees, auditors, assessors, consultants, contractors, representatives, suppliers, partners, and any person acting for or on behalf of GISS.
3. Prohibited Conduct
GISS prohibits bribery, facilitation payments, kickbacks, improper gifts, undisclosed commissions, fraudulent payments, coercion, extortion, and any activity intended to gain an improper advantage or influence a decision.
4. Gifts and Hospitality
Gifts, hospitality, donations, or benefits must never be used to influence certification, audit, assessment, procurement, contracting, or business decisions. Any permitted hospitality must be reasonable, transparent, lawful, and properly recorded.
5. Certification Integrity
No person may offer, request, accept, or provide any payment or benefit that could compromise impartiality, audit findings, certification outcomes, complaint handling, or appeals decisions.
6. Reporting and Investigation
Suspected bribery or corruption should be reported promptly. GISS will review concerns fairly and may take disciplinary, contractual, legal, or corrective action where misconduct is identified.
7. Records and Compliance
GISS maintains accurate records of relevant transactions and expects all parties to cooperate with due diligence, monitoring, and compliance reviews.
